Senior Embedded Software Developer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Embedded Software Developer to join the team at our prestigious automotive manufacturer in Gothenburg, Sweden. If you are experienced with embedded software development, automatic test development, embedded Linux, C++; please read on!

As an experienced Embedded Software Developer, your mission will be to contribute to the development of the next generation of vehicle telematics. The main product is an information system in the embedded environment that communicates with the rest of the vehicle systems, and with a back-office system. Product features are Fleet Management, Uptime services, and other connected applications.

Within the team an agile approach (Scrum) is applied and the team is working with continuous improvement. As a Senior Embedded Software Developer it is expected that you are proactive, creative, have excellent team work abilities and possess skills in in C ++ development, software architecture, subsystems verification (Robot Framework) as well as work with requirements. A team member is expected to take on all kinds of tasks from the backlog but each the team use to have deeper knowledge and interest in one of the competence domains.

Profile

·         7-10 years’ experience in embedded software development

·         C ++, preferably C ++17

·         Embedded Linux

·         Automatic test development

·         Master's degree in electronics / computer engineering or equivalent education

·         ISO 26262, CANalyzer and invehicle network knowledge

·         Well spoken and written English

It is meritorious if you have knowledge/skills in:

·      Experience of working in the scrum and / or Kanban teams

·         Requirement management

·         Git

·         Jira

·         Jenkins

·         Yocto

·         Scrum 

·         Cyber security

·         Python and Robot test framework

·         Develop simulations in CANoe

·         Knowledge in the Telematics domain
